1. European barefoot peak trail
Unique in the European Alps, the Riesneralm draws nature and mountain lovers to the Alpine heights. To touch, feel and sense the mountain with your feet is certainly not typical, but this unique trail opens up all the more new space to find meaning for it.
Spruce cones, wood chips, bark mulch, mud and earth troughs, granite slabs, torrent pebbles, all different varieties of wood and natural mountain pasture; everything is there. Beneficial foot reflexology and inspiring stimulation of the senses at a total of 18 stations. The route to the Hochsitz gently zig-zags directly to the cross on the summit of the Riesner-Krispen at 1922 m and is approx. 700 m long.
However the "Children's Treasure Hunt" for the "Krispini Ghost" also promises plenty of excitement. Secrets are hidden at 9 stations along the trail from the Berghof to the Hochsitz. If all 9 stations are solved correctly and entered on the treasure card, you can use the resulting combination to open the locks of the treasure chest on the Hochsitz and everyone, of course, gets their reward. The educational Herb Trail for adults and children now runs along the short trail between the two ski lifts.
