6 Lake Hike on the Tauplitzalm
A leisurely hike through the flowers to mountain lakes and huts in one of Europe's most beautiful mountain pasture regions awaits you. You hike on the Tauplitz at 1,650 metres above sea level towards Grimming and Sturzhahn. The Alpine roses are often in bloom here until the end of July, but Carthusian pinks, thyme, hellebores, anemones and many other brightly coloured flowers also bedeck the meadows. During this hike on this lakeland plateau, you reach the lakes of Krallersee, Großsee, Märchensee, Tauplitzsee and eventually, Steirersee. But beware, the view can cause addiction.
