Bad Radkersburg
The historic thermal spa town in the south of Styria is active on many fronts. Southern flair, lust for life and modern elements fuse with history and tradition. The town is both starting point and finish for an impressive cycling region. Cycling through romantic floodplains, idyllic vineyards and into neighbouring Slovenia promises pure exercise. Austria's Bad Radkersburg and Slovenia's Gornja Radgona form a town that has historically grown together; divided after the First World War, it is now growing together again. Bad Radkersburg can offer something for all cyclists, from families to competitive amateurs. Moreover, there are several hundred kilometres of cycling trails around here. There are many routes around the thermal spas for leisure cyclists. There are also a few GPS trails available. Tip: From July to October, the Bad Radkersburg Tourist Information Office organises free bike tours three times a week.
