Dachstein Circuit Hiking Trail
You will be taking on the highest peak in Styria, the 2,995 m high and mighty Dachstein, with its mountain worlds, pastures and cultural highlights. You will need about eight days to get around it. The award of the UNESCO World Heritage Natural and Cultural Site is more than justified here: ancient coral reefs tower over green mountain pastures, glaciers and highlands full of flowers in the south. On the north side, in the Salzkammergut, there are ancient forests, karstic springs and raging torrents.
