Gesäuse Mountain Hut Trail
An approximately 5-day trek, which is good to divide up between several holidays, through the Gesäuse, Austria's newest national park. Its sobriquet "Symphony of Cliffs and Water" says everything, really. The impressive Haller Mauern, Schieblingstein and Hochturm accompany you on the first two stages. The day after the Admonter Haus hut you climb to Weißenbach on the Enns. A short train journey takes you to Großreifling. Your next destination hut: the Ennstaler Hütte. On this stage, you have the most imposing peak of the entire Gesäuse in front of you: the Tamischbachturm.
