Nordic Trail Along the Channel of Drava River

The Nordic trail runs on both sides of the Drava River channel. The trail is giving views across the fields all the way towards Haloze and a medieval town centre of Ptuj with the castle on the north side. The Drava River cools down the atmosphere in the summer offering the ideal conditions for Nordic walking. This easy trail is suitable for families with small children because of sparse traffic and flat terrain.  Not far from the trail some Mithraeum (antic sanctuaries) can be seen.
