Via Alpina
341 day stages 5000 kilometres - the Via Alpina leads through all eight Alpine countries (Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, France and Monaco) - from Trieste to Monaco. A particularly beautiful part leads from Slovenia through Styria - from the gentle mountains of the south to the mighty peaks of the north. On this stretch, which is over 200 km long and divided into ten stages, you will not only find natural phenomena, but also plenty of culture. A visit to Seckau Abbey with the largest abbey library in the world, for example, is a near must.
